Meteorological Predictions

Damp conditions were forecast to persist along much of the state's eastern regions this week as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tuesday was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with continued severe weather risk predicted across different parts of both regions.

Health Warning

Public health experts alerted that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
